Alberta has one of the highest rates of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in the world, impacting more than 7,500 Albertans. The funds raised from the 2016 Kimberley Homes Golf Classic will enable Albertans with IBD to benefit from the latest developments in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.
We are also delighted to announce that the federal government will match the funds raised here in Edmonton with a $3 million research grant thanks to Dr. Richard Fedorak's effort.
Held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Blackhawk Golf Club, the annual event sold out for the 5th year in a row with golfers from Edmonton's business community. We'd like to thank Kimberley Homes and all of our sponsors and participants for their generosity and enthusiasm!
