Stroke patients now have better access to life-saving, clot-removing procedures thanks to the expertise and technology funded by the University Hospital Foundation’s Brain Centre Campaign.

The Alberta Transplant Innovation Fund invests to improve the lives of vulnerable Albertans. Funded projects represent the most impactful research underway to improve the lives of those waiting for organ transplantation.

The program includes the work of Dr. Puneeta Tandon (pictured above), who is developing a personalized, online program to improve health outcomes for patients awaiting liver transplantation.
